Cathy Hartgraves is a self-taught Italian-American artist whose creative journey spans over three decades. After leaving a 12-year banking career, Cathy followed her passion for art full-time—launching several successful art-based businesses along the way, including a national hand-painted clothing line and a custom linens collection for weddings and boutique hotels.

Her work includes everything from murals on walls, floors, and ceilings in private homes and restaurants to delicate charcoal sketches and whimsical mixed-media pieces. Cathy is known for her playful style, intuitive process, and deep appreciation for beauty in the everyday.

Cathy co-founded Inner Artiste, a workshop series that brought hundreds of people together for sip-and-paint events long before the trend caught on. She’s taught large and small groups across California, often collaborating with her son Jeremy to create memorable art experiences.
