Tuscany Unveiled was born from a shared love of art, travel, and authentic experiences. We're a small, passionate team made up of artists, creatives, and locals who believe that slowing down and making something by hand — whether it’s a painting or a meal — is a powerful way to reconnect with yourself and the world.

 

Our retreats are designed to be welcoming, immersive, and deeply human. We value meaningful connection over luxury, and our settings reflect that: antique-filled villas, home-cooked meals, and conversations that linger late into the evening. Our goal is to create experiences that nourish the creative spirit — not just through art, but through the culture, beauty, and people of Italy.

 

The first retreat is led by Cathy Hartgraves, a lifelong artist and warm, intuitive teacher known for helping painters of all levels find their creative voice. Behind the scenes, we’re a close-knit group working across continents to bring these experiences to life — and as we grow, so will the kinds of retreats we offer.
